Sys*Stim 206

The Sys*Stim 206 is a one-channel neuromuscular stimulator that features four different waveforms in a light-weight package. The narrow pulse is suited for TENS while the wide and AC pulses can be used for muscle stimulation. Direct Current can be used to stimulate denervated muscles or perform iontophoresis. The Sys*Stim 206 is an ideal companion to the Sonicator 716 for combination therapy.

Weight: 5.6 pounds (2.5 kg.)
Dimensions: 4.3 in (H) x 6 in (D) x 13.4 in (L), 11 cm (H) x 15 cm (D) x 34 cm (L)

Spec Sheet

Since the first ME 200 muscle stimulator was introduced in 1973, The Sys*Stim® line of electrical neuromuscular stimulators has provided value. Each Sys*Stim stimulator is easy-to-use and has a variety of features that include today’s most popular waveforms, programmable output modes and portability. All Mettler Sys*Stim devices offer many effective safety features. Internal error codes are designed to stop a treatment and let the clinician know how to fix the problem. Patient safety is number one!

Q: Can I use the 206 for Interferential?
A: No. The 206 does not offer the IFC waveform.

Q: What can I treat with the 206?
A: The 206 offers 3 versions of a biphasic waveform. The waveforms are preset to treat small, medium and large muscle groups. The 206 also offers the DC waveform, which is used to treat denervation.

Q: Can I treat two patients at the same time with the 206?
A: No. The 206 is a single channel device. You would need to look at a two channel device like the Sys*Stim 226.

Q: What kind of electrodes will work best with the 206?
A: The higher the quality of the electrode, the better the treatment. We recommend using either the Mettler EZ Trode or the Mettler V-trode line.
